Development Charges

Background

Council of The Corporation of The Town of Ajax passed Development Charge By-law No. 83-2008 on September 8, 2008, under Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997. 

Payment

Charges for residential and non-residential development are payable at the time of building permit issuance. Charges are calculated and payable at the rate in effect when payment is due.
