Parade Route

• The parade begins at the intersection of Bayly Street and Mackenzie Avenue, and will proceed east along Bayly Street (in the east bound lanes), then north on Harwood Avenue (in the south bound lanes), concluding at Ajax Town Hall. On route, letters to Santa will be collected by Canada Post, and Durham Regional Police will be collecting non-perishable food items for their annual holiday food drive. Tree Lighting Ceremony

• A tree lighting ceremony will take place immediately following the conclusion of the parade (Approx. 7:15 p.m.) at Town Hall. Free hot chocolate will be available, and the Eastside Harmony Chorus will be performing.
  
  Bring in your old incandescent light strings and you will receive a one-for-one exchange on new seasonal LEDs from Veridian, up to a maximum of two sets per household - while quantities last!

Parking

• There is limited parking at Town Hall. Patrons are encouraged to park at the Ajax Plaza, Harwood Shopping Centre, Baywood Centre or St. Andrews Community Centre, located at 46 Exeter Rd.
