Transportation

Phase 2 will also integrate the transportation policies from Ajax’s approved Transportation Master Plan and the Durham Regional Official Plan, and be revised to reflect the Corporate Strategic Plan’s objective to manage growth in a manner that develops a safe and efficient transportation system.  Transportation topics to be examined will include:

• goals and objectives;
• general policies;
• transit;
• road network;
• goods movement;
• active modes of transportation;
• transportation demand management; and
• access management.
